For Online Sellers and Dropshippers

Listing, fulfilling, and supporting radar detectors as an online seller: data to request, packing for parcels, and policy checks per channel.

Online sellers live on product data, parcel cost, and policy compliance. Radar detectors are friendly to online selling: small, light, and stable in transit. These notes cover the online-specific checklist.

Data to request from the desk

  • Confirmed specification sheet per SKU: band list, display, mounting, power, and update method.
  • Retail box dimensions and weight, and export carton data for freight planning.
  • Photographs of the real unit, including the display in day and night modes.
  • Manual text you can reference in listing copy.

Do not publish a specification the supplier has not confirmed in writing. Pending fields stay out of the listing until they are confirmed.

Parcel economics

A boxed detector usually ships as a small parcel. Confirm the retail box dimensions early: a few centimeters can move a parcel into a higher size tier on some couriers. For multi-unit orders, plan the export carton as the freight unit and the retail box as the parcel unit; both belong on the specification sheet.

Channel policy

Check each channel's policy before listing, including the category entries for radio-frequency equipment. Our marketplace policies page summarizes the points confirmed from primary sources and the steps to verify the rest. Keep the listing's scope statements: receive-only, private passenger vehicles, rules differ by location.

Support and returns

Most online returns trace to expectations: display brightness, alert behavior in traffic, and mounting fit. The listing that shows the display in daylight, describes the alert controls, and photographs the installation prevents more returns than any discount. Agree the warranty and return terms with the desk in writing, then write your customer policy from them.
